The Landmark Thanksgiving Post
It has been an exciting first few months, and I'm grateful for you reading along. Plus, a preview of what stories are in the works.
Hi folks — no newsletter this week in recognition of the fact that everyone has either logged off for the weekend or has one foot out the door.
But, I wanted to send a quick note of gratitude to everyone who has subscribed, shared and read my reporting on Landmark these past few months.
It’s been an exciting time for this upstart newsletter.
Landmark has explored the legal side of everything from Donald Trump’s climate deregulatory agenda to pesticide regulations to plastics. Along the way, Landmark has gotten some nice interviews with California Attorney General Rob Bonta, Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin and of course many practicing attorneys who represent everyone from renewable energy developers to environmental groups to traditional energy companies.
Next week, Landmark will be back with a story diving into U.S. securities law and investment firm greenwashing, and then you can expect some stories to round out the year looking at what’s at stake from an environmental law perspective under the new presidential administration.
And I’m excited about some more under-the-radar stories that are in the works about the way our legal system interacts with energy and environmental policy going forward as well.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and thanks again for reading!
